If your long weekend isn’t booked up quite yet, you can discover some amazingly talented local artists at Art in the Park in West Kelowna.

Grizzli Winery is hosting Art in the Park for its third year. The event celebrates talented artists and artisans, and fine wine.

Artists from across the Okanagan will be showing their creations in stone, glass, wood, fibre arts, oil, acrylic and watercolour and displayed against the backdrop of the vineyards.

“This year’s Art in the Park is an exciting way for people to experience and explore the Westside Wine Trails”, says John Perrot, Economic Development Officer for the City of West Kelowna.

“We are pleased to see this program evolve and feature the talents of our artists and winemakers for what’s being expected to be one of the busiest tourist seasons in recent years.

West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom will be visiting Art in the Park on Sunday, organizers said.

Grizzli Winery is located at 2550 Boucherie Road, West Kelowna. The event is held on Sunday June 30 and Monday July 1, between 10:30 a.m and 4 p.m.
